The Tomb of Khwaja Muin-Ud-din Chisti (Khoja Sayyit), Ajmer

Description Muin-ud-Din Chisti (1143-1235) was a Persian Sufi saint. After his death a Muslim shrine or tomb (dargah) was built in the southwest corner of the city by Iltutmish, Sultan of Delhi, and later enlarged by the Mughal Emperor Humayan. The dargah is a place of pilgrimage for both Muslims and Hindus and is considered the second holiest Muslim site after Mecca[edit]
