Trial of Raja Lal Singh

Description This monograph duly edited brings out the treachery of Raja Lal Singh against Raja Gulab Singh of Kashmir and the British government. Lal Singh was accused of sabotaging the British treaty of handing over the Kashmir to Raja Gulab Singh in reward for his services rendered to the British to bring about a treaty between the British and the Lahore Darbar after the first Anglo-Sikh war. The editor has painstakingly edited the existing material and presented a reliable document of this political trial. It is a good auxiliary source of Punjab and Sikh history.[edit]
