Description This volume contains biographical details of Maharaja Ranjit Singh, his descendants, prominent Sikh chief including the Dogra successors, Veteran Sikh warriors as well as rulers of Jammu region. The account of court conspiracies, murders, revenges, and region rebellious is also included. Being written by the contemporary British military offices, the account is fairly objective, unbiased and balanced. It is quite an informative auxiliary source of Sikh history of Maharaja Ranjit Singh's times and Maharaja's ancestry[edit]
