Description "Shihrafi" is a poetical device in a poetic composition and a literary device. It has its own rhyme and metre. This composition is about love and its troubles and tribulations. Each unit "Shihrafi" starts with an alphabet of Urdu language and brings out some aspect of romantic love, passion and lover's state of mind. Suited for an oral recitation, it is not a very literary composition.[edit]
