Catalouge of Khalsa Darbar Records

Description The volume III of the Khalsa Darbar Records pertaining to the Maharaja Ranjit Singh's rule contains government records dealing with the Revenue Rolls, Jagirs (Endowment) Records, and Toshakhana (Treasury) Records. It is divided into three parts. A detailed catalogue enlisting the heading of each document is preceded by a brief description about the documents lying in each bundle. The brief introductory description narrates the outstanding features of the documents. In this way, this catalogue contains valid, authentic information about these three segments of Khalsa Darbar's Administration. It is a valuable document for researchers of Sikh history.[edit]
