This book contains documents and photographs taken up from The National Archives of India New Delhi and put on an exhibition on Feb 9-17 1973, on the twenty fifth anniversary of India's independence. It has been arranged episode wise from 1919, the year of Mahatma Gandhi's emergence on the national scene up to the end of the India's freedom struggle. As the title suggests, these exhibits present a kaleidoscopic view of the Evolution of India's freedom struggle and its major landmarks. Photographs of National leaders make the exhibits more authentic and attractive.[edit]
