A historical survey of India between 1706-1783 containing the reign of seven Mughal emperors especially the two last rulers of Bengal and Oudh namely namely Seeraj-ud-Daula and Shudjah-ud-Daulah. It also makes a critical assessment of the British Government and their policy towards India. The author claims to have written an eye-witness account of the major events during this period. [edit]
