The Sikh Bangle

Description This book tries to bring out the meaning and symbolic significance of the Sikh Bangle. Guru Gobind Singh was a multidimensional personality and God was uniquely generous in bestowing unparalleled qualities upon Guru Gobind Singh ji. Seeing the miserable condition of the nation, he was keenly interested to make people more courageous and daring. So he baptized the Sikhs into "Singhs", and ordered the Singhs to keep five Ks (Kara, Kangha, Kirpan, Kesh, Kachh) for ever. The steel Kara is circular in shape. The circle is one of the most important and oldest of symbols, known as Mandalas. Writer describes that there is psychological and philosophical significance of this Mandala. It gives strength and integrity to the wearer.[edit]
