Sikh Martyrs

Description Sikh martyrdom is distinct and unique in the sense that it considers martyrdom as sacrifice against injustice and tyranny without a trace of malice towards the executioner. The book is a record of the martyrdom of all the major Sikh martyrs including Guru Arjun Dev, Guru Tegh Bahadur, four Sahibzadas, Forty Muktas, Bhai Tara Singh, Bhai Taru Singh, Bhai Mati Das, Dyal Das, Bhai Mani Singh, Bota Singh, Mehtab Singh, Sukha Singh, Haqiqat Rai, Subeg Singh, Shahbaz Singh, Baba Deep Singh, Baba Gurbakhsh Singh. Besides this, it narrates two major massacres of Sikhs known as Chhotta Ghallughara and Wadda Ghallughara. It also includes invasions of Ahmad Shah Abdali and Duranni's and atrocities committed by Aurangzeb. [edit]
