Title Administration of Jind State Under Ranbir Singh (1887-1947)
Description Several princely states existed during the British colonial rule in India and the princely chiefs of these small states governed their states under the overall sovereignty of the British Empire. This research dissertation analyses the history, evolution and the quality of governance of Jind state under the rule of the last Indian ruler before its final merger with the union of India in1947 after India's independence. The fifty year rule of this last ruler was marked by overall good governance and better law and order. The dissertation is well researched and well documented
