Title M. M. Sethi Diary 1947
Description Notings in the personal diaries of some sensible people during some eventful years in a country's history provide valuable information about important events and become basis for writing of books of history. Thus some diaries and diarist become a part of world history and literature. This diary contains personal notings of "The Tribune" correspondent. It contains references to some important events and persons during the year 1947, the year of India's independence and partition. It covers a period of three months from February to May 1947. Notings are brief, suggestive and specific about communal riots in Amritsar in 1947
