Title Punjab De Komi Shaheed
Description This book pays a glowing tribute to the most prominent Hindu, Sikh martyrs who sacrificed their lives for India's independence from the British. Rich in biographical and other details about these martyrs, it also demolishes and rebuts several misconceptions and myths projected in some historical books about the actual role of Punjab in the freedom struggle. The account based on personal collection of the author made from the archival records and meetings with martyr's families sets the record straight and proves that the contribution of Punjab and his people was in no way less than that of other states and communities. The book is a testimony to the Patriotism and sacrificing spirit of Punjabis. Majority of these martyrs being Sikhs, this volume is also an invaluable part of Sikh heritage as well. The flawless language and impressive diction of the book reflects the proficiency and command of the author on his native language
