Title The Spirit of Non Violence
Description Nonviolence of any kind is the central care of Jainism. The picture of a cow and lion eating together shown on the title page symbolizes the message of love and nonviolence. The book provides a bird's eye view of the Jain teachings to the lay readers which consists of instituted sympathy and compassion for the distressed and tolerance towards the perversely inclined. The framers of India's constitution have enshrined some of the Jain postulates in India's statuette book. The booklet records fundamental postulates of Jainism.
