Title Chanhu-Daro excavations 1935-36
Description This comprehensive volume gives a detailed information about the Indus-Valley Civilization which existed on banks of the river Indus around 3000 B. C. This information was collected by an extensive excavation of three ancient mounds of Chanhu - Daro, situated near the modern village of Jamal Kirio, near Sakrand in the Nawabshah District of Sindh Province of modern day Pakistan. The excavations and study were done by a professional America Archeologist and his team. The whole account is illustrated through in corporation of several plates of excavated artifacts revealing different aspects of this ancient civilization, such as human habitation, their housing technology, layout of cities and other modes of living. This volume makes an excellent primary source of ancient Indian Civilization.
