Title Genesis of Sikh Nirankari Tussle
Description This tract traces the origin of the splinter Sikh sect "Nirankaris" and its gradual degeneration into a sham pseudo religious organization and its confrontationist attitude towards Sikh religion and the Sikh way of life. This confrontational anti-Sikh hostility, abetted by certain political vested interests, resulted in a violent Nirankari-Sikh clash at Amritsar in 1978. The tract summarizes the positive contribution to Sikh religion made by the founders of this sect and its gradual depravity with the passage of time. The contents of the tract are based on facts and comparative study of Sikh tenets and the Nirankari assertions about their religiosity and divinity.
