Title Bhai Jagta Sahib
Description It is a biographical sketch of Bhai Jagta Sahib, on of the saints of the Sewa Panthi or Adanshahi sect started by Bhai Ghanaiya, a devout Sikh in the service of Guru Gobind Singh. The Headquarters of this sect is at Goniana Mandi in District Bhatinda of Punjab and known as Tikana Bhai Jagta Sahib. Bhai Jagata was a successor to Bhai Bhalla Ram and fifth in line of of Bhai Ghanaiya. He was a native of Magiana in Distt Jhang, Punjab now in Pakistan. His life was full of meditation, social service, and love of humanity. He became very popular for his acts of generosity, compassion, philanthropy, simplicity and complete effacement of ego. He left a clear imprint of his piety even on Maharaja Ranjit Singh and Maharaja Kharak Singh.
