Title Canadian Sikhan da Itihaas
Description The book deals with the reasons and circumstances in which the Sikh started migrating to Canada in the first decade of 20th century. It describes the modes of their immigration, the problems and ordeals such as racial discrimination, lack of equal human rights, their struggle for settling in Canada and for getting fundamental rights, and establishment of Gurdwaras. Their struggle was carried on under the aegis of Khalsa Dewan Society. From being mill workers, Sikhs have become prosperous enterpreneurs and have occupied big positions in Canadian legislatures. Book is an authentic history of Sikh settlers in Canada.
